Here are the wonderful posters you made on your Lewis and Clark project.

I – Historical and Geographical Background : 2 students

- Louisiana Purchase + maps of the area at that time

- objectives of the Expedition + Risks, dangers.

II – Meet the players (biographies) : 5 students

1. Jefferson 2. Lewis 3. Clark

4. The Corps of Discovery (+ Sacagawea, Little Pomp and York)

5. The Indian Tribes: 1 - 2 - 3

III – The Expedition : 8 students

1. from 1803 to February 1805 : 1 - 2 - 3

2. from March 1805 to August 1805

3. from September 1805 to February 1806: 1 - 2

4. from March 1806 to September 1806

IV – The Consequences of the Expedition : 2 students

1. for the Whites 2. for the Indians

Well done, all of you !!My class and I had a wonderful time when we did our exhibition, and judging from your posters, I'm sure you had a great time too (along with some hard work, I know... :-) )My favourite poster (if I may say so) is the one with the Indian tent in the middle : so cute ! :-)Keep up the good work !And a special hello to a very special teacher ! ;-)

Sincere congratulations to the students who have produced a wonderful and detailed job ! Keep on that way with your active teacher !From a teacher in the North of France who read the book about Lewis and Clark several times for agregation and I even went to Saint Louis, Missouri.
